Rise Counseling was founded to help people on the Treasure Coast rise above life’s challenges. This is where we call home, and we are passionate about seeing our neighbors thrive. We happily serve Vero Beach, Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Jensen Beach, Palm City, Stuart, and Jupiter.

FAQs

  • Not at all. Everyone needs help now and then, and people who do show they are strong enough to reach out. In our work together, we will help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing.

  • Because each person has different issues and goals for counseling, your input in each session will be unique to your situation and needs. But your active participation will be crucial to the process.

  • The costs per session can be found above. If you cannot attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.

  • We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. We work with a variety of financial situations and offer veteran, active military, and first responder discounts.

  • Yes! We accept Aetna PPO, Aetna Choice II, Aetna HMO, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Florida Blue, Optum, United Health Care, and Medicare. We also accept UMR and EAP. You may also use a Health Savings Account or a Flexible Spending Account for payment if applicable. You may also ask your insurance provider if they offer reimbursements for out-of-pocket “outpatient mental health expenses.”  If so, an invoice or superbill can be provided.

  • The general time allotted per session can be found above. Regarding how many sessions you will need, this will depend on your situation. Our team is ready to help you make this determination.

  • A mental health professional has training and experience to help you approach your situation in a new way, teach you new skills, help you gain different perspectives, and listen to you without judgment or expectations. Furthermore, counseling is completely confidential.

  • Medication can be effective, but it cannot solve all issues. Sometimes medication is needed in conjunction with counseling. Our work together is designed to unpack problems you are experiencing and expand on your strengths that can help you accomplish your personal goals.
